The Pop Factory Awards are televised on Monday December 11th at 11.20pm, on ITV1 Wales.

The Pop Factory Music Awards 2006 once again proved itself the Welsh music event of the year!
Presented by Alex Jones & Colin Francies, the vast majority of Wales’ current hotshots were present, including: The Automatic, lostprophets, Funeral For A Friend, GLC, Bullet For My Valentine, Mike Peters, new kids on the block, The Guns, The Blackout, Viva Machine, and Radio Luxembourg.
After six years, the show finally made the irresistable move from Porth to Cardiff.
The big winners of the day were lostprophets and The Automatic, who won five awards between them. lostprophets took home the award for Best Welsh Band, along with the awards for Best Live Act and Best Album!
Afterwards, the Aftershow kicked off in The Point, with Xfm spinning tunes, Casino Royale providing entertainments, and plenty of artists putting in early bids for next year's Rock n Roll Excess award!

Voted for by the Welsh public, these are the awards that really matter, on behalf of a country that punches well above its weight when it comes to delivering and appreciating fantastic music.
The Pop Factory Music Awards is a chance to honour the brightest and best and pay tribute to an incredibly vibrant and talented nation.
